Tiger Camp FAQs
-
Will all ages (6-13) be learning/playing together or will the ages be split up?
-
For the majority of camp time, campers will be split into 6-8 and 9-13 age groups. The only times that the entire group will be together will be at drop-off, breakfast, lunch, and pick-up.
-
What is your camper to counselor ratio?
-
The American Camp Association recommends no more than 15 campers per 1 counselor. At Tiger Camp, we will have no more than 10 campers per 1 counselor at any given time, with the majority of camp time having 6-7 campers per counselor.
-
Will camp continue in case of rain?
-
We are prepared with indoor training activities in the case of rain. Campers will still get to enjoy their sports activities during sports camps, and a variety of other games and activities in the case of rain during any camp sessions.
-
Are parents/guardians allowed to sit in on camp sessions?
-
While we do want campers to become immersed in the environment and enjoying the company of their new friends, parents and guardians are welcome to join us for certain camp sessions. We do have a limit of two (2) visitors per child.
-
Which camp session would you recommend to younger campers/ children who have never attended camp before?
-
While all of our camp sessions will be friendly to ages 6-13 and have intro periods built into each, we especially recommend the Summer Kick-Off camp as a way for your child to meet their counselors and get to know the environment before they begin work on the specialized lessons and games in other weeks. Andrew College is a really cool place for kids and we have so many fun things planned for this summer!

We look forward to seeing your child at Tiger Camp!
